Event: Woodbooger 5K Race & Beattyville Main Street Mile Walk
You may have traveled the world and heard about Bigfoot or Sasquatch.. But we can bet you have never heard of this folklore creature being known as a woodbooger!
Register today to participate in the Woodbooger 5k Run/Walk event in downtown Beattyville, KY.
Beattyville KY is a small eastern Kentucky town on the banks of the Kentucky River where north and south fork rivers meet. This 5K event will have you exploring the downtown area that was totally underwater just 2 years ago due to a historic flood. As you run/walk around our route, imagine yourself being waist to chest high in water.
All proceeds go toward the programs of the Beattyville Main Street Organization. Programs such as awning grants, signage, business support, building facade activities and more. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the LCMHS Track Team.
