Swags Performance Project Half Marathon Training: Beginner Plan
This Beginner Plan is built for runners who are early in their half marathon journey.
Over 16 weeks, you will develop a strong aerobic base, grow your long run from 5 to 10 miles, and build the fitness and confidence to cross the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon finish line on October 17, 2026.
This 16 week program includes:

This Intermediate Plan is for runners who have completed at least one half marathon and are ready to push further.
Over 16 weeks, you will build on your aerobic base with higher volume, structured track sessions, sustained tempo runs, and Marathon Pace work. Long runs peak at 11 miles before a focused taper positions you to race your best at the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon on October 17, 2026.
