The Roaring Lion 5K Run/Walk (formerly The Marching Ant 5K Run/Walk)

The 10th Annual The Roaring Lion 5K Run/Walk formerly The Marching Ant 5K Run/Walk) will be held LIVE this year! The race will be held 8:00AM MONDAY, MAY 27, 2024, at VETERANS PARK in Stanford, Kentucky.  The race is being hosted by the Stanford Lions Club. The race promotes diabetes awareness. Proceeds will be split between a local diabetes organization and local projects for the club. This race is in memory of the late Lily Brooke Bullock.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

All registrations received by 8:00AM MONDAY, MAY 20, 2024, will receive a FREE SHORT-SLEEVE Dri-Fit t-shirt OR cotton t-shirt.  T-shirt will be available for pick-up on Monday, May 27th!

Entrants registered after 8AM MONDAY, MAY 20, 2024, will receive a FREE SHORT-SLEEVE Dri-Fit or cotton t-shirt.  Please note:  If a Dri-Fit t-shirt is selected, it may not be available on registration day.  A mailing option will be available (for a $10.00 charge).

PRE-REGISTRATION & WALK-UP REGISTRATION PICKUP ON MAY 27TH

Pre-Registration Pick-Up & Walk-Up Registration will be held 6:30AM-7:45AM Monday, May 27, 2024.  The location is: VETERANS PARK WELLNESS CENTER, 567 GOSHEN ROAD, STANFORD, KY 40484.  With your race packet, you will receive a race map.  If you would like to run the 5K, at that time, you may do so (on your own).  

FINISHER AWARD INFORMATION

Awards will be given to the following:

ANT/AGE DIVISIONS:

12-Under / 13-17 / 18-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 

40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70+

Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

 in each Male and Female Age Group. 

Overall Male and Female Race Winner and 

Master Winner (40 years or older overall)
