Come enjoy a wonderful scenic run along a reclaimed strip mine, enjoy the best hot vegetable soup in the county, and get the most original finisher medals and trophies around. Turn around point is at the childhood home place of Loretta Lynn the famous country western music star from Van Lear Holler and the subject of the movies Coal Miner's Daughter. Race includes after party, blue grass jam session, and tours of the Van Lear Coal Miners' Museum. Please register by 09/07/17 to reserve a shirt.
