A Ghost Runner is a virtual runner in the SLCC 5k.
Who can be a Ghost Runner?
Anyone who wants to support scholarships, but just can’t fit the run into their schedule. Students are not allowed to be Ghost Runners.

What does it cost to be a Ghost Runner?
The Ghost Runner contribution is $30 which supports SLCC student scholarships.
As a Ghost Runner, will I get the official race-day t-shirt as part of my registration?
Yes, the official race-day t-shirt will be mailed to you. Ghost Runner t-shirts will not be handed out the day of the race.
As a Ghost Runner can I still designate a student for entry into the scholarship drawing at the 5K?
Yes, you can designate a current SLCC student as your entry into the drawing. However, the student must be present to win.
Can an SLCC student be a Ghost Runner?
No, students are not allowed to be Ghost Runners, but they can solicit others to run on their behalf. Ghost Runners can designate a current SLCC student as their entry into the scholarship drawing at the 5K, increasing the student’s chances of winning a race-day scholarship.
