Sowebo Gateway 5K (formerly Sowebo Landmark 5K)

The course starts on the trail near the playground at Middle Branch Park and continues past the Baltimore Rowing Center onto Waterview Avenue, turns onto Kloman Street, continues past the new townhouses and park development before turning around to return to Middle Branch Park via the waterside trail. The trail takes runners underneath the Hanover Street Bridge towards the Maryland Vietnam Veterans Memorial and loops back along a park trail to the finish. A festive atmosphere permeates the event, which includes refreshments and music afterwards, an awards ceremony, and a resource/vendor fair on site. Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female finishers, as well as medals in 13 different male and female age categories and the stroller category, are awarded.
SoweboGateway5K t-shirts will be given to all 5K participants.

If you plan to push a child in a stroller, use this event to register them and yourself.
