The Lamoine Half Marathon

Back for the 2023 edition!

This is a pretty informal race. I whipped it up quickly nearly a decade ago when I found out that the Chamberlain Half Marathon in Brewer was cancelled. I knew a lot of runners were ready to race, so I made it happen.

Registration is FREE.

There will be water stops at mile 3.5, 7, and 9.5.

Since the race is free, please bring donations for local charity of our choosing to the race.

I will be there at 6:30 AM with my motley crew of volunteers checking in runners. Early starters will start at 7 AM. The normal start time will be at 8 AM sharp.

Feel free to come and race, use it as a time trial, an easy training run, or help someone else achieve their goal by pacing them.

This is "grass-roots" style of event, so any help is much appreciated. We will need a few volunteers to man the water stops and guide the runners at key intersections. If you know anyone that would be interested, please let me know!
