9th Annual Yarmouth Pumpkin Run
The Yarmouth Pumpkin Run fundraiser was started in 2007 with the Yarmouth Community Services Summer Scholarship as the first beneficiary. Since then we have donated to the Yarmouth Fuel Assistance program, the Yarmouth Food Pantry, Bartlett Circle Elderly Housing, The West Side Trail project and the Merrill Memorial Library.
The Pumpkin Run is hosted annually by Yarmouth Community Services and local business sponsors on the Saturday closest to Halloween and includes a 5k for adults, 5k with dogs, and 1k kid fun run. Costumes are always encouraged.
The 2015 Yarmouth Pumpkin Run will be held on Saturday, October 31st at Yarmouth High School. Same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The event is open to humans and dogs of all ages. Proceeds to benefit the YCS Teen Summer Camp Scholarship Fund.
