Dansville Halloween 5K/3k & Kids Candy Run

5k is chip timed. Race entry includes a Tshirt (or Socks), and a Special Finishing Treat/Award for all Participants crossing the finish line. No age group awards. Also all participants in ALL races will receive a unique painted gourd. Costume Contest winners receive a Homemade Pumpkin Pie as well as the Overall winners. Additional painted gourds for purchase will be available after the race to support Running programs at Dansville.
5K Course is fast with few turns, South on Williamston, West on Dakin then return, start and end in the parking lot. 3k fun walk/run turns around at Dakin and is not chip timed. Come on out and have a great time with us and be sure to wear a costume!

All ages, All the same cool swag as the 5k (Shirt or Socks option), yet a shorter course to accommodate our walkers and runners that wish for a shorter distance. No chip timing but lots of fun! Same start and finish line and as the 5k. Turn around early on the 5k course. This is a fun Halloween run/walk so be sure to dress up! Finishing clock will be displayed to show your time. Fun, Music, fall food and treats for all! All Participants receive a T-Shirt, Goofy Gourd and the special Holiday Treat at the finish line.

Dress up! Run or walk through a grassy area collecting candy along the way. Race starts after the 5k finish, around 550pm-6pm
All entrants receive a T-Shirt (or Socks), a Halloween trick or treat bag, and lots of candy (in Halloween eggs), and a handpainted unique goofy gourd. Parents may run/walk with their little ones and help find and collect the eggs. Sort of like an Easter Egg hunt, but for Halloween Candy.
Two waves depending on how many sign up, younger children first, then bigger kids. No age limit, and parents can decide which race and if they will go with their child. When their bag is full, head for the finish line for their finishing treat. Distance is short, main focus is fun and running and collecting the eggs.
