Start DSA's 30th summer with 30 celebrations!
That's right! This is an opportunity to share a fun activity with your dog to celebrate something special and/or unique on each day in June. That's 30 celebrations in 30 days! Are you up for this challenge?

To celebrate the many activities available through Dog Scouts, we've selected 30 behaviors from the check-off lists of 30 different merit badges that will provide you with 30 opportunities to cement the connection with your dog through positive reinforcement training as you teach something new, apply an existing behavior in a new way, or refresh previously taught skills. Yes, this one could be a challenge, but don't let that stop you and your dog from learning together and trying new things! Register early and give yourself more time to review the list and train any new skills needed to complete the listed behaviors. Are you up for the challenge of showing off in September?

We’re supercharging Sparky’s Turkey Trot this year!
You can hike, bike, scooter, skijor, and/or sled (or any combination of those) 30 miles in 30 days during the month of November—you can complete a mile a day (all at once or in increments throughout the day) or a few miles every other day, whatever fits your schedule and your dog’s fitness level. This event is completed on the honor system, but we will provide a log if you'd like to use it to keep track of the miles you've completed.
Note: Participants of this event will receive a rocker patch in addition to the participation patch so our 5-mile gobblers regulars won’t miss this year's acknowledgment for gobbling those extra miles.
Don't forget to check out the Trails titles and merit badges at dogscouts.org - Turkey Trot miles may also count towards trails titles and merit badges if the title/badge requirements are met.
