Event: Matt Kjelland Memorial 5K RUN
This is a scenic 5K Run/Walk along side of a lake, through Big Ole Park and the Central Lakes Trail. Medical & Emergency staff will be out on route and in start/finish area.

End Time: 1:00pm CDT
Event: Matt Kjelland Memorial 5K Walk (3.1 Miles)
A recreational walk from City Park, along the lake to the Central Lakes Trail and Big Ole Park. For your enjoyment, near the walk turn-around, local musicians will be providing a variety of music. A water stop and medical staff will be at the turn-around.

Event: Matt Kjelland Memorial Family Fun 1 Mile+ Walk
This is a casual, recreational friend, family and dog friendly walk with a turn around near Big Ole Park in Alexandria, or at your choice you can continue the walk beyond one mile point with various turn-around options marked on the route.
Strollers, dogs on leashes and kids are welcome!

Event: Kids 1K Fun Run
This is a safe, supervised Fun Run 1K (.62 miles) or shorter for all kids. Parents/family members will be able to see the entire route designated 1K route. This route is within City Park boundaries. Parents are welcome to join the kids in the run. Specific security will be provided during the entire event schedule within City Park, as an additional service but parents/guardians will be responsible for children at all times and out on the Walk/Run. Ribbons awarded to all participants.
