8 AM RACE START (5k bib pick-up begins at 6:30 am) The 5-kilometer (3.1 mile) loop course starts and finishes at Pinehurst Park in Cloquet, Minnesota. The route travels through the neighborhoods of West Cloquet and the historic Pinehurst Park area. T-shirts are guaranteed for all who register by 6/13/25. Award Ceremony to follow race:
1st, 2nd 3rd Place Overall Female/Overall Male
1st place female/male in the following age brackets: 12 & under, 13-18, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
Jimmer 10K: Feeling like challenging yourself? Immediately after crossing the finish line of the Sawdust 5K, turn around and run the course in the opposite direction to complete the Jimmer, a challenge created by the local running club, the Milltown Milers, in memory of Jim Hagerl. Jimmer, as Hagerl was known, was an avid runner and supporter of the Sawdust 5K. He died in April of 2018 from an aggressive form of brain cancer. This challenge is free and no registration is required.

LaVonna 1 Mile Walk/Run 10:45am Race Start (Registration begins at 10am)
Location: Northwoods Credit Union, 1702 Ave B, Cloquet, MN 55720
The LaVonna 1-mile walk/run is a FREE unofficially timed race for all ages. Participants will start at Northwoods Credit Union and race down Cloquet Avenue to kick off the parade. The race ends on the corner of 11th St and Cloquet Ave, by The Jack bar. T-shirts are guaranteed for all who pre-register for the $15 t-shirt option by 6/13/25. Limited t-shirts will be available for purchase on race day.
The LaVonna 1 Mile is named after LaVonna Prevost, a local walker who was tragically killed in an auto pedestrian accident while on a walk in October of 2017.
