Marty’s (Martin County’s famous pig) Youth Triathlon is open to all youth ages 5 to 15. All ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are welcome! Whether it’s your first triathlon or your 100th, our race is designed to have fun while challenging yourself in a safe, positive environment! It is our goal to promote youth activity through the sport of triathlon and get you hooked for years to come😊. Finishers will be celebrated at the finish line and will receive a Finisher Medalion. Top racers in each age group will receive placement medals as well. The 2023 race is back and better than ever!!

Event: Olympic Triathlon
Swim: The Olympic event will begin with 0.93 mile swim on either Budd or Hall Lake depending on the current wind direction.
Bike: The 40K bike course is a beautiful, generally flat out and back route with a few short hills to add a little challenge to the ride.
Run: The 10K course is flat and fast consisting of two loops of the 5K route with multiple water stops along the route.

Swim: The Sprint event will begin with 0.25 mile swim on either Budd or Hall Lake depending on the current wind direction. Our entire sprint swim course is marked with a floating foam noodles to aid with visibility and safety.

Event: Bacon Run 5K
This squealin' fun run/walk event will be hosted by Marty Magic, the official mascot of The Bacon Capital of the World! This flat and fast course will have multiple water stops and you may even get to sample some of Marin County's finest bacon!! Wear your free pig nose during the race or sport it after, it's up to you! Dress to race or dress for FUN, you don't want to miss this event!
