Promise 5K Bensky's Race

The Kids Fun Run will be held prior to the Promise 5K at Robbins Island Regional Park. This Kids Fun Run is named in honor of a boy named Bensky. Bensky lived much of his life at COTP, and during that time, he found his purpose. Even though he couldn’t walk, he lived a life of motion and impact. Bensky tragically passed away in 2021, and his life left a mark on many!

Remember - if you purchase a race t-shirt, another will be purchased for our annual Kids Fun Run in Haiti too!

This is an officially timed race and is a part of the Glacial Lakes Running Series.

The race will be held at Robbins Island Regional Park in Willmar, MN. Thanks to our sponsors, all registration fees and free will donations go directly towards supporting Institution Chrétienne Enfants de la Promesse (ICEP), whose vision is to utilize education to develop Christian leaders to bring transformation in Haiti and beyond.

If you are located outside of the Willmar, MN area, the Virtual Promise 5K is a great option for you! This run/walk can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or even the treadmill. Share the news with your friends, register for the race, and complete a 5K on your own time!
