September Overnight
Calling all intermediate riders! We’re going out with a bang for our final organized overnight of this season AND celebrating the autumn equinox all in one weekend. We recommend having ridden 50 miles in one day prior to this overnight to ensure you’re prepared! We’ll have a SAG vehicle (a support vehicle), take several breaks along the ride, and provide breakfast in the morning.
Route stats:
Day one (9/21): 50.7 miles with +2796 ft elevation gain, 30% paved
Day two (9/22): 28.3 miles with +477 ft elevation gain, 95% paved
Terrain: paved bike paths, rolling dirt roads, and about 15 miles on a faster paved road with cars
We will be hosting a pre-overnight information and gear session from 6:30 to 7:30 on Wednesday, September 18 at Silver Park. Bring your bike so we can go over packing, outfit your bike with your bags or bags from our gear library, and review general trip information!
Like all Slow Spokes events this trip is open to women, non-binary, and gender expansive folks.
