Event: 5K Run
Race Packets can be picked up on Thursday, June 1st, between 12 noon and 6:00 pm, in the Chamber Boardroom (36 Montford Ave., Asheville, second floor).
Parking on Race Day - please plan to carpool if at all possible. Parking is available in downtown parking garages. The Chamber parking lot will be closed. Neighboring schools are still in session, so those lots are not available.
The exact race start time will be determined based on the city transit schedule. All participants should be in the Chamber parking lot no later than 4:00. We will line up racers with fastest groups first, then walkers and children/strollers.
Race bibs include one free beer ticket. You will need a valid I.D. to obtain a wristband in order to receive beer. Additional beer tickets can be purchased and other vendors may have items for sale. Water will be available on the course and at the end of the race.
