11th Annual Cupid Shuffle
Cupid Shuffle 5k run/walk hosted by Alpha Chi Omega for the promotion of awareness, education, & prevention of domestic violence. Proceeds will go to the Safe Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter of Charlotte, NC and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.
Location: 4001 Stough Rd, Concord, NC 28027 (Frank Liske Park)
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd will be awarded in two separate categories:
1. Individual male runners
2. Individual female runners
All proceeds will be donated to organizations promoting and aiding in the awareness, education, and prevention of domestic violence:
85% of the proceeds will be donated to the Safe Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter of Charlotte, NC. Safe Alliance assists over 20,000 people annually throughout our geographic footprint that includes offices in Cabarrus County, Charlotte, Lake Norman and Union County. They also reach thousands more through their educational and prevention programs as well as institutional advocacy efforts. Safe Alliance is a United Way of the Central Carolinas member agency.
