Esprit de Corps Challenge
Esprit de Corps Challenge by Special Operators Challenge
Who: Athletes, warriors, adventurers and the fearless are welcomed. EDCC is open to mighty men and women ages 15 to 120 years. Over 120 years requires a doctor’s letter.
What: Esprit de Corps Challenge is a team oriented resilience event. It’s not a fun run but fun is guaranteed as you test your skills in shotgun shooting, archery, tomahawk throwing, fire starting, canoeing, rappelling, climbing, feats of strength, observation exercises, and an 11 mile movement all combined with ongoing team building activities.
When: Saturday September 12, 2015
Where: Camp Tuscarora, 965 Scout Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524
Why: On September 11, 2001 our nation was attacked with the intent of instilling terror in the hearts and souls of Americans. The lives of many were taken. On this day we as a country chose to be victors rather than victims. We joined together as a nation, united and stronger than before….knocked down but not defeated. A new war was begun. In our war against terrorism myriad sacrifices have been made. On September 12, 2015 we honor the lives of the fallen, their families, and the nation.
Tell Me More!
Upon registering for Esprit de Corps Challenge, participants will receive from Special Operators Challenge an email with the names of five Americans whose lives were taken on 9-11 or who have fallen during the Global War on Terrorism.
Participants are asked to do research and learn more about these fallen and their family. We ask that participants carry the names and photos of their designated fallen throughout the September 12 Esprit de Corps Challenge. At designated times throughout the day, participants will be given the opportunity to share the stories of these fallen Americans.
This event is hosted by Special Operators Challenge of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Special Operators Challenge donates 5% of registration fees to charity.
