Beating Cancer for the Long Run

The 5K race will take place at Northwest Guilford High School cross country course, starting at 10 a.m. Day of the race: please meet 30-15 minutes before the start of the race to check in (people will direct you where to park and go). There will be a check-in table before you enter the track, this is where t-shirts and race bibs will be handed out. Once you receive your t-shirt and race bib, you will enter the track where there will be fun activities to do until the start of the race. Once everyone arrives, we will walk down as a group to the start of the race. Once you finish the race, you will be able to get your official time, water, and snacks. After the race, feel free to stick around for the Fun Run, bake sale, other fun booths, and raffle basket prizes.

The Fun Run will take place on the Northwest Guilford High School track. The Fun Run will be one lap on the paved course around the park. The Fun Run is available to elementary school students and younger. The Fun Run will start around 11:00 a.m. depending what time the 5K ends. There will be volunteers throughout the course helping kids and cheering them on. After the Fun Run, students and their families are welcome to stay and do fun activities.

Northwest students will help set up 5K and cheer participants on for service hours!
