Recre8 5k
Join runners and walkers around the state in the first NCRecr8 5k at High Point City Lake Park. This event is hosted by High Point Parks & Recreation and is coordinated by the NC Recreation & Park Association with 11 additional hosts in communities across NC. All events are taking place on the morning of April 16, 2016. Join the fun and show support for parks and recreation!
Be sure to stick around for free access to park amenities from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Including: the carousel, train, putt putt, plus face painting. Dogs will not be allowed with runners and we will have a “No Pets” policy in place.
Main parking areas at the front entrance of the park will be used. Parking attendants will direct traffic to overflow parking if main lots are full. All traffic to enter the park will be stopped 5 minutes before the start of the race.
