Recre8 5k
Join runners and walkers around the state in the first NCRecr8 5k at Lawson Creek Park in New Bern. This event is hosted by New Bern Parks and Recreation and is coordinated by the NC Recreation & Park Association with additional hosts in 11 communities across NC. All events are taking place on the morning of April 16, 2016. Join the fun and show support for parks and recreation! This event will be timed and the facility has a parking lot that has ample parking.Don't forget to visit the Festival of Fun, a children's festival with approximately 4,000 people enjoying games, inflatable rides, food, arts and crafts at nearby Union Point Park less than 2 miles away.
