Join us on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 at the Nichols Field Track for a KIDS' FUN RUN to support four-year-old Tommy Lafontaine in his fight against leukemia. This is a family-friendly, community-oriented event! While the race is designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12, younger and older siblings who do not fall within the age brackets are strongly encouraged to attend!

In addition to the fun run, there will be lawn games, face painting, a bake sale, raffle, and much more to honor Tommy as we celebrate his upcoming fifth birthday! Parents, grandparents, friends, and family will have the opportunity to walk donation-based laps after the race is over to show Tommy their love and support.

ALL REGISTRATION FEES, BAKE SALE PURCHASES, RAFFLE ENTRIES, AND MORE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE LAFONTAINE FAMILY!

For safety and support purposes, there will be waved starts (five total) beginning with the younger kids.

Parents with young children participating in the event may walk or run alongside their child on the grass, and all children should cheer one another on from the grass while it is not their turn to run. Please be sure to remind your child/children that they must keep clear of the track when it is not their turn to run. They can cheer on siblings, friends, and fellow runners from the grass.

Distances are based on a traditional outdoor track in meters.
The first wave will begin at 10AM.

Wave 1: ages 3/4: 100m dash (on the straightaway)
Wave 2: ages 5/6: 200m run (half lap)
Wave 3: ages 7/8: 400m (one lap)
Wave 4: ages 9/10: 800m (two laps)
Wave 5: ages 11/12 1200m (three laps)

Awards will be presented to first place boy and girl in each bracket.

BIB and T SHIRT PICKUP WILL BEGIN AT 9AM ON RACE DAY!
