Event: Purpose Runners Riverfront 6k Run, Walk and Kids Run
Please join us for the Newark Riverfront 5k Run, Walk and Kids Run.
Riverfront 6k Run benefiting the Purpose Runners Foundation and Newark Riverfront Revival Org.
COURSE: 6k Run. Course is USATF Certified, “relatively flat” trail track course with two laps inside Riverfront Park, two water stations, fruits, snacks.
The kids race course will be on grass and distances depending on age group.
Walk will start 10:45, is 2 Mile Walk, one lap around park.
Walk and Kids Run registration is free.
AWARDS
• T-shirts to the first 100 Pre-Registered Participants of the 5k Run, Limited shirt availability for race day registrants and for walkers registrants.
• Trophy to the overall M/F winners of the Riverfront 5k Run.
• Commemorative finisher medals to the first 150 finishers.
• Riverfront 6k Run Commemorative Embroidered Apparel will be awarded to the top 3 finishers (male & female) in each of the following divisions: first overall, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39 etc., then 5 year increments through all master’s divisions
• Kids Race in each age category: Ages 3 thru 15 (M & F). All Kids participants will receive a commemorative medal.
• Prize Money - Top Three Overall M & F $150, $100, $60
