NUTRITION, HEALTH + WELLNESS INITIATIVE: The link between cancer and diet is just as mysterious as the disease itself. Research has indicated that certain foods and nutrients that may help prevent, or, conversely, contribute to, certain types of cancer. At Wade's Army, we believe that a holistic approach to fighting cancer is critical. This new initiative will fund health and wellness research, provide access to nutrient dense foods, and afford access to outdoor play via home playgrounds for children who are undergoing cancer treatment.
FAMILY SUPPORT FUND: Provide direct financial support to families to cover treatment, loss of work, and other unexpected costs to allow families to focus their energy on supporting their child.
