Yeti or Not Snowshoe Invasion 5k
Dust off your snowshoes and get ready to charge the mountain at the Vernon Snowshoe Invasion! That's right! We are bringing the Invasion back! Join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on Saturday, January 30, 2027 for this fun filled snow activity and challenge the best of your winter skills!
Ride the cab up to the top of the mountain and then choose to tromp out a 5k or if the ridge is a bit too much, you can choose to go right to the last downhill mile THIS OPTION IS NOT TIMED). Either one is sure to keep you warm on even the chilliest of days!
Visit www.vernontwp.com for more information or paper registrations. Register by December 31, 2026 for the early discount fee of $25. After the New Year, the fee is $30. BYOS (bring your own shoes).
On Saturday, January 31st, check in begins at 7:30am in the Biergarten at Red Tail Lodge. Registration includes a ride to the top of the mountain for participants, with the race starting at 9:00 am.
