1 Mile Walk
The 1-mile run/walk is all paved, suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs are allowed on the 1-mile run/walk ONLY, and MUST BE ON A LEASH THE ENTIRE TIME. The 1-mile run/walk is not a timed event, but participants will still receive a bib and participation medal. Law Enforcement 5k Competition
Law enforcement agencies are encouraged to form a team of 5 certified officers from the same agency, 2 females are required on each team. In 2024, the "traveling trophy" was awarded to the New Mexico State Police Team, and it will be at the event and given to the winning team at the 2025 event! EMS agencies are encouraged to form a team of 5 certified EMS employees from the same agency, 2 females are required on each team. This event was added this year and the winning team will take "home" the traveling trophey. The same 5k course will be used for the EMS competition. 1-Mile KIDS Run!!
New this year! All kids under the age of 14 can participate! Parents can join their kids if they would like. Every kid who finishes gets a medal and a popsicle!
