Jarrow Formulas® Superior Starts 5K

Join leading vitamin and supplement brand, Jarrow Formulas®, in Brooklyn on June 6, 2024, for the community-based Superior Starts 5k Run/Walk. Jarrow Formulas has tapped Head Peloton™ Instructor and health and fitness powerhouse, Robin Arzón, to host the event as its newest brand ambassador. The event is also backed by the venerable Bridgerunners, DeFine, Girls Run NYC, Goldfinger and TeamWRK run clubs.

After the event, please join us at the Whole Foods Brooklyn (214 3rd St, Brooklyn) to enjoy FREE smoothies, snacks, samples, prizes and much more.

Lace up your running shoes, grab your friends and get moving to the starting line of your goals - registration for this event is FREE! See you there hustlers!

Check-in opens at 6:30 a.m. at the Barclays Center Plaza (between Atlantic Ave & Flatbush Ave.)

Will there be a bag check on-site?
• No, there will not be a bag check at the event.

Can I participate without registering?
• All participants need to register before the event begins.

How much does the event cost?
• The 5k and the activities at Whole Foods Market Brooklyn (at the finish line) are free!

How long is the run/walk?
• The run is a 5k, so the route will be 3.1 miles.

What if there is inclement weather?
• This event is rain or shine! In case of unsafe weather conditions, event organizers will be in touch about potential start delays.

Can I still participate if I am under 18 years old?
• Yes! This is a run/walk for all ages. By submitting this entry, you acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years of age) to having read and agreed to the release and waiver.

Will there be people on the route to guide me?
• Yes, we have many volunteers from various NYC running clubs who will be pacers and want to see you have the best 5k. Please listen and watch for directions from these wonderful volunteers.

What if I need medical attention?
• If something happens on the course, please find a volunteer and ask for help.

Will parking be available?
• There is no designated parking for this event, but the starting line is near the MTA LIRR Atlantic Terminal, MTA Bergen Street station, IND Culver Line and several MTA bus stops.
