Event: Doug Wood 5K Trail Run
If you are looking for a great outing this Spring, try this great 5k run in the woods. On April 9th, the Doug Wood 5K trail run in Makimah Nature Preserve is a fun day for the whole family. The trails through the nature preserve offer scenic views of the Crab Meadow and Long Island Sound. The preserve is home to deer, red tailed hawks great horned owls and osprey.
