Event: Run to Remember Sunset Run- 5K fun run/walk
This race raises funds for two families who have learned the devastating effect of Alzheimer's disease. One family- Doug Hoffman's have lost their loved one to this horrible untreatable disease. The other family- Ellen Cronk's are currently living with the every day challenges and changes this disease brings to their loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend. They are caring for Ellen at home and are continuously supported by the Third Age Adult Day Center, in Plattsburgh NY. The proceeds raised (100%) go directly to this local agency to help with their programs.
