Walkway One Mile

The inaugural Walkway One Mile – ten one-mile races celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park – has been postponed until 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. An exact date will be announced early next year. “In the interest of the health and safety of our runners, volunteers, and park guests, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Walkway One Mile,” said Elizabeth Waldstein, Executive Director, Friends of the Walkway. “The unique layout of the Walkway can make social distancing a challenge, and with a large turnout anticipated for the races, safely hosting the event under current guidelines is impossible. We look forward to having a fun and fantastic One Mile in 2021.”
