PEP FIT's INFLATA-Mile Family Fun 1 Mile Walk
Before You Sign Up (What You Need to Know)
We want every participant and family to feel confident, prepared, and excited for the Inflata-Mile. Here are a few helpful details to make your experience the best it can be:
Is this event really for all abilities?
Yes—100%.
This event was intentionally created to be inclusive, flexible, and welcoming for individuals of all abilities.
You can:
Walk, roll, stroll, or take breaks as needed
Participate with a caregiver, parent, or support person
Move at your own pace without any pressure
✨ We also offer an All Abilities Wave (Time TBD), designed to provide a more supported and less crowded experience.
If you’re unsure if this is a good fit for your family, please reach out—we are happy to help.
🎈 Do I have to wear an inflatable costume?
Nope! Costumes are highly encouraged (because they make the event extra fun 😄), but you are absolutely welcome to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
👨👩👧 Can I participate with my child or support someone during the event?
Absolutely. We encourage parents, caregivers, and support partners to participate alongside individuals who may need assistance. This is a shared experience, not a solo event.
♿ Is the course accessible?
Yes! The course is:
Wheelchair accessible
Stroller friendly
Located on a paved path with additional space along the sides
If you have specific accessibility needs, feel free to reach out ahead of time so we can best support you.
What if my child (or I) get overwhelmed?
We understand that busy environments can be a lot. That’s exactly why we created the All Abilities Wave—to offer:
A calmer, more relaxed start
More space between participants
A lower-pressure environment
You are also always welcome to:
Take breaks
Step off the course
Participate in whatever way feels best
There is no expectation to complete the full mile.
