Not Forgotten Virtual 5K

This is a fundraising event. As a registered participant we are inviting you to ask 12 friends to donate $25. As a result, each runner will raise $300 for Back2Back’s Child Sponsorship Program, providing daily practical needs for one year.

Individual 5K fee includes one event t-shirt and a copy of Beth Guckenberger's Tales of the Not Forgotten. Additional t-shirts may be purchased from the store while supplies last.

Registration/sign up after August 15th will receive t-shirts after Labor Day Weekend.

This is a special event for VBS large groups. It is a fundraising effort and we encourage you to be creative in how you go about raising $300 as a group. It takes an average person 6,000 steps to complete a 5K. Let’s say you have 50 children in your church participating, that would be 120 steps for each child! Then in terms of fundraising, those 50 children raising 5 cents per 120 steps equals $6, $6 x 50 equals our goal of $300! A team of 25 kids could raise $12 each for 12 laps around their church building. Or 300 kids could give $1 for one lap around the church. The total amount raised is still our goal of $300. What a great way to engage the youngest members of your church in something much bigger!
