Cheadle Lake 5K/10K Fun Run & Walk and 1/2 Mile Kids Obstacle Dash

Participants will encounter a wide variety of over 20, easy to conquer obstacles set up in an oval with the start and finish lines near each other. Free registration for the first 200 kids! The race course starts at Cheadle Lake Park on the south side of Cheadle Lake.
The 10K and 5K routes exit the park using the paved North Shore Trail with the lake on one side and the Santiam Canal on the other. The route follows the lake shore until crossing three walk bridges on the way to Riverview Park. In Riverview Park the 5K turns around. The 10K course continues on the concrete surfaced Old Mill Trail one direction and the gravel surfaced Eagle Scout trail the opposite direction. The course dips toward the river on a gravel trail for about one mile. The route passes through Gill's Landing Park following the South Santiam River and enters River Park on an asphalt trail. The course circles River Park then returns to Gill’s Landing and Riverview Park. From Riverview Park the course follows the North Shore Trail back to Cheadle Lake Park to the Start/Finish Line.
