After splitting from the 6K flat portion, it meanders upward through the wooded hillsides of Scappoose, rewarding runners with the final 1K downhill portion with views of Mt Hood, Rainier & St. Helens. Start & finish in Scappoose Veterans Park.
Note: The uphill is as challenging as it is rewarding. If you're not ready for that, we recommend the 6k route.
