The 10K race begins on the beach facing south. All runners will head south toward Tillamook Head (around Avenue U); turn back to head north to the start; turn back south toward Tillamook Head to complete a second loop and then east to the finish line back on the Promenade.

RaceWalkers will begin at the north end of the Promenade near the registration area; walk on the promenade to the south end at Avenue U; turn around and return to the Start/Finish line. RaceWalkers are hand-timed.
Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, regardless of age.

Kids' Sand Dash
This is a fun activity designed for parents and grandparents to share their passion for running with their children and/or grandchildren.
The Sand Dash is a short 50 - 75 year dash (depending on age and Beach topography) in the soft sand. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category regardless of gender.
Following the Sand Dash, kids are encouraged to participate in the Treasure Hunt -- EVERYONE gets a prize!
