Charcoal Challenge 5k Fun Run
This trail race (walking is also allowed) shows off Pine Grove Furnace State Park including both trails and gravel roads. There is a hill and minor trip hazards. Registration/start/finish are at the Furnace Stack Pavilion near the Park Office at 1100 Pine Grove Road, Gardners PA (address is not actually in the town of Gardners!). For mapping, use 40.0318331, -77.305694. Participants should park at Fuller Lake lot at 1050 Pine Grove Road 40.03221, -77.30201 and allow 5 minutes to walk to registration area.
