Great Eastern State Break Out Race
This 5 K race course takes you through Fairmount including an exclusive route through historic Girard College and is USA Track & Field sanctioned. Like last year The Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park will continue to show support for our fallen officers by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Police Survivors Fund of Philadelphia.
Sign up early as we only have room for 250 runners and Race T Shirts will be reserved for the first 200 to register
Enter as a Team. Team size is set for 3 to 5 persons with awards going to winning team. Also a 5 person team gets a 20% discount on registration fees so get your team together and register soon.
The awards ceremony and our traditional eggs and bacon breakfast will follow immediately after the race. Award categories per gender for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place overall and 1st place in the following categories: 0-19, 20- 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 & over. Additional award categories: Team Winners, Youngest Runner, and Eldest Runner.
