The East Bay Running Festival

The race starts with a cross country feel - line up in the grass and race to hit the bike path before the crowd. A short incline up the hill, then flat for the first mile. Another small incline then a nice descent towards the water, past stone walls, rolling farms and quaint homes. Take a turn through scenic Touisset Point before heading back the way you came, finishing on the bike path near the Warren Little League field.

Another small incline at the start of Touisset Rd. then a quick turnaround, heading back the way you came, finishing on the bike path near the Warren Little League field.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Warren Bike Path as it winds through the woods and out to Long Lane — continue on if you're up for more distance. Long Lane is a quiet, country road that will be closed to automobile traffic during the race/walk time of day.

The age-appropriate course will be set up on a wide-open field on the grounds at the Pete Sepe Pavilion. Named in honor of local running legend Tony Daponte who has been a tireless advocate for youth fitness through running for decades.
