Event: 5K Color Run
The Calhoun Color Run was started 5 years ago as a community wide, healthy, family friendly event to raise funds for all of the PTO sponsored activities at Calhoun Academy of the Arts. Participants run (or walk) a full 5k in a neighborhood around the school, while traveling through “color stations” where they are doused with colored powder. While we do award prizes for top finishers, this is not a timed event for runners, but is instead a laid back, fun way for families to enjoy a Saturday morning exercise session together while raising money for Calhoun.
