Run Palooza

The River Walk 5K goes south on the Swamp Rabbit Trail to the River Walk. The course loops around the Peace Center, goes down the River Walk a second time, then turns around and returns to the Kroc Center. This is a scenic and fun course!

The West End 10K is a loop course that goes north on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, passes by Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Hampton Station, then returns to the Kroc by way of the Hampton Pinckney Historic District. This course uses the new pedestrian bridge that connects Hampton Station with Hampton Avenue (the first organized race that has done so).

The Big Kahuna 15K gets its name from the hamburger joint mentioned in the QuentinTarantino movie, "Pulp Fiction". This race is a combination of the 5K and 10K. Runners may run the 5K and 10K courses in any order they choose. After completing one course, they will "tag" the start/finish line and embark on the second course. This is a real challenge, so runners will probably hanker for a Big Kahuna Burger after they finish the 15K.

Double Slammers may choose any TWO EVENTS. They will receive the normal swag plue a FREE Run Palooza Double Slammer button display plaque!

Triple Slammers will gain entry to ALL THREE EVENTS, and will receive the normal swag plus a FREE Run Palooza Triple Slammer button display plaque!
