Our flagship event and the heart of race day. This 2.5-mile costume run/walk is built for everyone — families, kids, casual walkers, and anyone who wants to celebrate the season on foot. Dress in your best Christmas gear and enjoy a relaxed, festive pace around the Rock Hill Criterium course, with plenty of holiday cheer (and a few costume rivals) along the way. Whether you're walking with the stroller crew or jogging it out with friends, this one's all about connection, not the clock.

Ready to put in the work? Our competitive 10K takes runners around six full laps of the certified Rock Hill Criterium course — about 6.6 miles, or 10.62K, slightly longer than a standard 10K since we wanted the course to stay clean and lap-based rather than cut short with an awkward partial loop. It's a great early-morning challenge before the rest of the day's festivities kick off, with plenty of energy on the course and a strong finish waiting at the line.

Grab three friends, coworkers, or family members and take on the course together as a team of four. Each runner covers one 1.1-mile loop of the Rock Hill Criterium course before handing off to the next — just like Santa's team, everyone plays their part to get the sleigh home. It's a fun, low-pressure way to experience race day as a group, whether you're chasing a competitive time or just looking for an excuse to wear matching antlers. Teams of four are required to register together; solo sign-ups can be paired with an available team at check-in.

This is a package registration for both the 4.01K and 10K. Ideal for those who want to do a short, fun run/walk with kids, then compete against friends afterward w/o paying for both events. There will be a break between events.
