Half Marathon
The Mt. Rushmore Half marathon begins at the Ghost Canyon Dude Ranch on a well-packed dirt road for about 3 miles before turning into pavement. Though this course has a lot of uphill, runners will be rewarded with amazing views and a final downhill stretch before finishing at the Borglum Story Museum in Keystone, SD.
We'll have parking at both the start and finish, and shuttles will take runners who parked at the start back to their cars after the race.

Includes the following events: Half MarathonRaise a minimum of $1,000 to support the communities around Mount Rushmore and we'll waive your race entry fee.
The Charity Bib program is a serious commitment, so please don’t take this lightly. You will have until 2 weeks prior to the race to raise the funds and become eligible to run. If you are short of meeting your goal, you'll be charged the remainder of the fundraising commitment. All donations are final.
YOU choose whether the funds you raise go to support one of the Wander Project official charity partners or an organization that matters to you when you sign up for a charity bib. For 2025, “Your Choice” charities can be domestic or international!
All donations are final. All “your choice’ charities will be verified by Wander Project using the criteria spelled out in Wander Projects FAQ/policies.
