5K Run/Walk
Packet Pickup: Saturday before the race from 9am-12pm and Sunday morning 830am-2pm at Franklin FUMC.
Schedule for Race Afternoon:
- Day-Of Registration: 8:30am to 2:00pm.
- 5K Race Begins: 3:00pm. Runners, walkers, baby joggers/strollers are all welcome.
- Kids Fun Run Begins: 4:15pm.
- 5K Course Closure: 4:30pm.
- Awards: Homemade baked goods! Presentation at 4:45pm will be the goal! Prizes to the Male and Female Top 3 Overall and Top 3 Age Group Winners (by five year increments from under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, and so on).
Parking: Free parking at Franklin FUMC.
Water Stop: Provided at approximately the 1.5 mile mark.
Waivers: To be signed at the time of registration (either online or at event).
What to wear: Dress for the weather which could be chilly winter or beautiful spring!
Food/Drink: Water, sports drink, fruit, and other refreshments available after the run.
