Time Limit - 3.5 Hours. Race organizers have worked with Kingsport city officials to increase the course time limit for the upcoming Haunted Half Marathon to 3.5 hours. As a result all runners will start at 7:30 am with no early start (7:00 am) option. There will be a hard course closure at 11:00 am, but those still on the course will still be allowed to finish and official timing will remain on until the final finisher. Race officials feel the common start and longer time limit will be safer for those needing more time to finish the half marathon. Previously, early starters were on their own until formal course support was set up at 7:30 am. The common start will also help reduce timing corrections/confusion due to runners starting at the wrong time.

Choose this option if you plan to run the entire half marathon, but also the first leg of a relay team.
