Event: Short Group Bike Ride
If you are registering to participate as a bicyclist, please be advised that this is a processional ride, not a race. Riders are expected to be fit and capable of riding in a peloton in close proximity to other riders. You should be fit to ride 15 miles at 15 mph. Cyclist will be expected to arrive at the East DCS Office at 182 Frank L. Diggs Drive, Clinton, TN 37716 by 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1. Helmets are required by all participants. One SAG vehicle will accompany riders along the route to provide assistance. Cyclists are encouraged to pair up with other cyclist to account for transportation needs between DCS and Ridgeview. Cyclists will be provided a green Ride for Hope t-shirt and are encouraged to wear it during the event. One training ride will be scheduled in April and posted in advance of ride - this ride will help you determine your fit and readiness to participate. Along the route, scheduled stops will include the Anderson County Courthouse and an elementary school.
