For those seeking an extra challenge, join our rucker division. This unique event combines the thrill of trail running with the discipline of rucking.

RUCK DIVISION REQUIREMENTS
Required Gear:
Rucksack with reflective elements (GORUCK Rucker recommended, but any rucksack acceptable)
Weight Requirements:

Men: 20 lb (9.1 kg)
Women: 10 lb (4.5 kg)

Weights must be placed high in the rucksack, close to your back. Other requirements:
-Hydration system
-Trail-appropriate footwear
-Weather-appropriate clothing

Important Notes:

Weight requirements are dry weights (water, food, and additional gear don't count)
Weight checks conducted at start and finish
Equivalent weights (e.g., weight vest plates) acceptable if properly secured
Safety is paramount - proper packing required

Speedyard

The Speedyard is a shrinking clock race on the 1.31 mile Lake Travis shoreline loop. Every round is two laps, and every round starts on the horn whether you finished the last one with eight minutes to spare or eight seconds. Round 1 asks for 12:13 per mile, wide open to almost any runner. Round 6 asks for 8:01. Whatever time you save is the only rest you get, so speed buys recovery and going out hard buys nothing. Clear all six rounds and you have earned a spot on the line at noon for one final lap, flat out, fastest time takes the title.
