Triathlon Skills Camp

Camp Schedule:

8:00 am Check-in

8:30 am - 10:00 am:
Swim coaching, drills and technique.
Two coaches on deck to provide instruction for both beginners and more advanced swimmers.
Max 4 per lane, with lanes for starter, medium and fast pace.

10:30 am -12:30 pm:
Bike ride, best practices for cycling workouts.
A 90 minute out and back ride on Old Independence Road.
Cyclists select their own pace, distance.
SAG vehicle will follow on this quiet country road.
Any type of bike is suitable, old or new.
If it has two wheels and a saddle, you are good to go. For safety, it's a good idea to make sure the chain isn't rusted and the brakes work. Bike front and rear lights are always advisable. A few will be available to borrow.
No one is allowed to ride without a well-fitting helmet.

12:30 pm -1:00 pm:
Lunch is provided: sandwiches, fruit and snacks. Then, we will transfer to Hohlt Park for the afternoon session. (2425 North Park Street, Brenham)

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm:
Bike care and tire changing

2:00 pm -3:00 pm:
Run drills and 5K run. Walk/jog or sprint pacing it up to the athlete.

3:00 pm -4:00 pm:
Transition review to save valuable race time, and stretching.
