5k Summer Series Race Committee

The awards coordinators will work to gather and manage donated items to give as Overall Awards. Items should be age appropriate. Awards for those 15y/o and under should include activities, fun items, gift baskets, museum admissions, adventure experiences, zoo/theme park admissions. Other age groups may include gift cards, salon/massage services, workout camps.

Organizer for the biggest group award. Brainstorm and execute a fun way to recognize the largest group team participating in the 5k Summer Series!

Tasked with initiating contact and managing corporate sponsorship.

Tasked with finding vendors to participate in the Health and Fitness expo for the final race.

The prize coordinator will work to gather as many adult and kid-friendly raffle items as possible. (Also will be working with Sponsorship & Awards coordinator.)

Arrange activities & games for kids before/during/after each race.

Post-race recovery resources. Organize yoga class & participants. Reach out to resources to provide foam rollers, and other recovery goodies. (Also will be working closely with Health & Fitness Coordinator.)

Organizing race water stops, contact volunteers, managing amounts of water, maps, & gallon jugs.

Food management. Coordinates all Race Day food/drink necessities. (Also will be working closely with Sponsorship Coordinator)

Make contact with DJ, photographer, MC

Work with Race Directors to ensure proper registration for packet pickup and race day registrations.
