The American Hero Half Marathon:
Hero Half Marathon! Participants will conquer four loops of a fast 3.27-mile course, totaling 13.1 miles, in the beautiful Salado Creek Greenway trails. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to the sport, join us as we inaugurate a new tradition of honoring heroes through the power of running.

25k Relay Team

Bring your team of 5 Runners and come test your legs on full out 5k. This year all teams must register their team together. Changes can be made at packet pick up. You do not need to have all the information of all of your runners. The first 20 teams to register will receive a free runner discount. The winning teams for both male and female will still have price money to their name and depending on the number of teams register we are looking into doing price money for other categories. This will be announced at a later time.

Wheelchair 5K

For the third year we will be hosting a wheel chair categorie and we are so excited for them to join us. Depending on how big the event gets we will have a separate route for our wheel chairs to be able to do for the safety and comfort of all of our participants.

10K Hero Ruck (18 and over only)

We have decide to include a Ruck in our race for those who want to take challenge of rucking our event for your American hero. Your bib will have their name. This event will not be timed. You will carry 50 pounds. We will have 4 hour time limit to finish the ruck. Please be sure to be prepared to ruck this event safely and under the time limit. We will have a medic station near the finish line to check your health between each 5k to make sure you are healthy and able to continue. Special award for the top 3 Ruck champions from E-Dragon productions
