East Texas Youth Football Preseason Classic

The maximum weight for an “8U” division player for ball carry is 100 pounds with full equipment on.

Players shall not weigh more than 115 pounds equipped if they are to play any position other than an interior line position.

Teams are to be made up of 8 and 10 year olds.
9 year olds wanting to play in the “10U” division must be nine (9) on or before August 1st.
Players must be eight (8) on or before June 1st and cannot be ten (10) on or before June 1st.

Teams are to be made up of 11 and 12 year olds.
12 year old exception: Twelve (12) year olds who are in the sixth grade are eligible to play unless they will turn thirteen (13) before November 1st. The player must provide proof (school transcript/report card) that they were in the fifth grade the previous year.

Teams are to be made up of 12 and 13 year olds.
7th graders: Only those seventh graders who are eleven (11) years old on or before June 1st are eligible to play.
